
Finnish paper packaging and wooden building specialist Stora Enso Oyj (HEL:STERV) mentioned it has issued two new EUR-500-million (USD 536.7m) inexperienced bonds that may assist the corporate’s sustainability commitments and actions.
The bonds had been issued beneath the corporate’s new mixed Inexperienced and Sustainability-Linked Financing Framework which was launched in Might 2023. They are going to be listed on the Luxembourg Inventory Alternate, a press launch mentioned on Thursday.
The inexperienced bonds have three and 6.25-year maturities and pay a set coupon of 4.00% and 4.25%, respectively. BNP Paribas, Credit score Agricole CIB, Danske Financial institution and SEB acted as joint lead managers and bookrunners for the transaction.
The proceeds from the bond issuance will go to finance eligible tasks and property targeted on six main classes: sustainable forest administration; sustainable product processes; vitality effectivity; renewable vitality and waste to vitality; sustainable water administration; and waste administration and air pollution management.
