RP World launches crowdfunding for 400-MW photo voltaic venture in Spain

April 11 (Renewables Now) – Unbiased energy producer (IPP) RP World is crowdsourcing funds to pay for a number of the prices of its 400-MW Carril Photo voltaic venture within the area of Murcia, south-east Spain.

Particulars concerning the funding alternative have been posted on the web site of Spanish crowdfunding platform Fundeen, which permits residents to spend money on renewables. In keeping with Fundeen, RP World is providing residents residing within the venture’s areas of affect to contribute funding for the event and development of the Carril Photo voltaic plant.

The fundraising marketing campaign is focusing on EUR 450,000 (USD 490,300). Fundeen itself has contributed EUR 5,000, in response to its web site.

The Carril Photo voltaic venture is assessed as being in growth. Fundeen warns of the danger that RP World might not get hold of all permits to begin development.

The IPP proposes to put in the photo voltaic farm within the municipality of Puerto Lumbreras, and construct a transmission line that will cross into the Lorca municipality, it says on the venture’s devoted web site.
