Peru’s renewables share at 5.9% in Aug

September 23 (Renewables Now) – Peru’s non-conventional renewables generated 297 GWh of the nation’s electrical energy in August, down by 5% year-on-year, Peruvian ministry of power and mines mentioned.

The mixed share of wind, photo voltaic and bioenergy in Peru’s whole energy manufacturing rose to five.9% in August from 5.6% in July.

The renewables share in August 2021 was 6.5%.
