NovaSource acquires First Photo voltaic’s Aussie O&M belongings

October 4 (Renewables Now) – NovaSource Energy Providers, a photo voltaic operations and upkeep (O&M) specialist backed by Canadian non-public fairness agency Clairvest Group Inc (TSE:CVG), has acquired the Australian O&M actions of First Photo voltaic Inc (NASDAQ:FSLR).

The acquisition, which was closed on September 30, provides some 500 MW of photo voltaic capability throughout Australia to NovaSource’s international fleet, the latter stated in an announcement at this time. It didn’t disclose the worth of the transaction.

The acquisition is a part of the corporate’s international growth and marks its entry into the Aussie market. It follows the acquisition of First Photo voltaic’s North American O&M enterprise within the spring of 2021.

At current, NovaSource operates and maintains greater than 20 GW of solar energy crops throughout 11 international locations.
