April 15 (Renewables Now) – UAE-based photo voltaic developer Yellow Door Vitality has put into operation a photo voltaic photovoltaic (PV) system on the manufacturing facility of bottled water firm Nestle Pure Life in Dubai that may generate 2,400 MWh of fresh electrical energy yearly and meet 80% of the power’s vitality consumption.
Greater than 2,500 photo voltaic panels have been put in on the roof of a carport for distribution vans on the manufacturing facility, Yellow Door Vitality, which supplies the photo voltaic lease, stated on Wednesday. The system will minimize the manufacturing facility’s carbon emissions by 1 million kg per 12 months.
The photo voltaic developer is answerable for financing, designing, constructing, commissioning, working and sustaining the ability plant in the course of the lease time period.
