JinkoSolar says its N-type cell achieves 25.7% effectivity file

April 27 (Renewables Now) – Chinese language photo voltaic module maker JinkoSolar Holding Co Ltd (NYSE:JKS) on Wednesday stated it has set a brand new world file, attaining most photo voltaic conversion effectivity of 25.7% for its 182 mm high-efficiency N-type monocrystalline silicon photo voltaic cell.

The outcome completed by the corporate’s large-size monocrystalline silicon TOPCon photo voltaic cell has been independently confirmed by the Nationwide Institute of Metrology, China (NIM). It marks an enchancment from the earlier file of 25.4% reported in October 2021.
