Could 20 (Renewables Now) – China-based Huawei Applied sciences Co Ltd and fellow inverter maker SolarEdge Applied sciences Inc (NASDAQ:SEDG) have entered into a world patent licence deal that settles all pending patent litigation between the businesses.
The 2 sides have been suing one another over the previous few years in each China and Germany. The lawsuits have been associated to patent infringement.
The newly-signed deal features a cross licence that covers patents referring to the merchandise of each events and grants sure different rights. The particular phrases weren’t disclosed.
“This settlement ends lawsuits between the businesses that have been pending in Germany and China,” each Huawei and SolarEdge stated in an announcement.
