Gevo prepared to start out up RNG plant in Iowa

January 31 (Renewables Now) – US biofuels firm Gevo Inc (NASDAQ:GEVO) introduced on Monday that it has began the method of bringing its renewable pure gasoline (RNG) plant on-line in Northwest Iowa.

The power, referred to as NW Iowa RNG, is wholly-owned by Gevo by undertaking firm Gevo NW Iowa RNG LLC. It was designed to make use of dairy manure as feedstock and is predicted to provide round 355,000 MMBtu of RNG per 12 months, Gevo stated.
