For greater than 50 years, the Star has captured a few of music’s greatest stars on the Junos

Jason Wilson, whose album “The Peacemaker’s Chauffeur” was up for Finest Reggae Recording in 2009, attended the Junos together with his spouse, Alana. “We entered the pre-party surrounded by black night attire and fits,” she says with amusing. “With Jason in his kilt and me in a lavender sari, we actually couldn’t mix into the background.”

Drake and his mom, Sandi Graham, walked the Junos' red carpet at the Air Canada Centre in 2011.

Male Vocalist of the Year winner Leonard Cohen attended the 1993 Junos with Rebecca de Mornay.

Gordon Lightfoot, who has won 18 Junos over his career, received the Canadian Hall of Fame Award at the 1986 ceremony.

Nelly Furtado performed at the 2001 Junos, where she won four of her five nominated categories.

Keane, who himself received a 1977 Juno as a member of the disco band THP Orchestra, says, “Personally, I might take or depart award exhibits. However I do really feel that the Junos specifically assist to honour deserving artists and make clear new Canadian expertise.”
