First Photo voltaic picks up 260-MW panel order from Nevada gold miner

April 14 (Renewables Now) – US photo voltaic panels maker First Photo voltaic Inc (NASDAQ:FSLR) has booked an order to provide 260 MW DC of its modules to Nevada Gold Mines (NGM), a three way partnership firm working a gold-producing complicated within the US state of Nevada.

The panels might be used for a 200-MW AC photo voltaic farm that NGM will construct as a part of its efforts to decarbonise its mining operations, First Photo voltaic mentioned.

First Photo voltaic will manufacture the panels in Ohio, the state that may host its third US-based factory. The Lake Township, Ohio manufacturing facility might be able to producing 3.3 GW DC of photo voltaic panels per 12 months.
