
Danish renewables developer Eurowind Power A/S mentioned on Thursday that its 22-MWp Triana photo voltaic photovoltaic (PV) farm in central Portugal has began producing energy.
The photo voltaic plant, Eurowind’s first photo voltaic undertaking within the nation, options 41,020 monocrystalline silicon PV modules and bifacial PERC. It covers a 30-hectares (74.1 acres) space within the municipality of Alenquer, Lisbon district.
Triana is predicted to be able to producing about 43,900 MWh per 12 months, sufficient to satisfy the demand of round 14,000 households, the agency identified.
Eurowind acquired rights to this undertaking from renewable power developer Hyperion Renewables in August 2020 and began its construction in December 2021.
