Endesa will get enviro approval for 109 MW of photo voltaic initiatives in Spain

Spanish utility Endesa SA (BME:ELE) stated on Thursday that it has secured the environmental approval to put in three photo voltaic farms totalling 109 MW in Spain’s southern area of Andalusia.

The licences will allow the corporate’s renewables division Enel Inexperienced Energy Espana to construct the Campos de Al-Andalus I, II and III photo voltaic crops in Huelva province. Endesa stated that the initiatives would require an funding of EUR 73 million (USD 79.5m).

Endesa, via Enel Inexperienced Energy Espana, operates 11 photo voltaic farms in Andalusia and a complete of 45 in the entire of Spain. Its complete put in solar energy capability within the nation stands at 1,663 MW.
