The Dominican Republic’s nationwide power fee CNE mentioned on Wednesday it had signed definitive concessions with three entities, enabling them to construct 148 MW of photo voltaic farms within the nation.
The beneficiaries are the next firms: LCV Ecoener Solares Dominicana, Cotoperi Photo voltaic FV and Renewable Vitality World Dominicus (R.E.W.D.).
LCV Ecoener, of Spain’s Grupo Ecoener SAU (BME:ENER), will construct the 50-MW Payita 1 photo voltaic farm in Maria Trinidad Sanchez province.
R.E.W.D. may even construct a 50-MW plant, named Parque Photo voltaic R.E.W.D., siting it in La Romana province.
The concessionaire Cotoperi Photo voltaic FV, not way back affiliated with Spain’s Acciona Energia (BME:ANE) as the bulk proprietor, might be liable for the 48.06-MW Cotoperi I photo voltaic venture in La Romana province.
