CleanCapital buys 65.3 MW of photo voltaic belongings in dozen US states

February 16 (Renewables Now) – New York-based clear power funding platform CleanCapital has acquired a diversified 65.3-MW portfolio of solar energy belongings positioned in 12 US states from BR Group Holdings LLC, it introduced on Tuesday.

The agency took residence 39 tasks and 91 whole websites with sizes starting from 0.2 MW to six.5 MW of capability. The bundle consists of 20 carport belongings serving a college district in California, 16 websites serving the Hawaii Division of Schooling, and in addition 11.5 MW of group photo voltaic tasks in Minnesota benefiting numerous industrial and industrial (C&I) off-takers, CleanCapital mentioned.

The newest buy is CleanCapital’s six funding since securing a USD-300-million (EUR 263.6m) commitment from Manulife Funding Administration again in April 2021. The agency now manages 200 tasks in 24 states totalling over 300 MW and value greater than USD 800 million, it mentioned.

The sizable portfolio places CleanCapital within the high ten listing of business photo voltaic belongings homeowners within the US, in response to Michelle Davis, principal analyst at analysis agency and consultancy Wooden Mackenzie.
