Chile’s renewables ramp up output by 23.7% y/y in Aug

September 23 (Renewables Now) – Chile produced 31.8% of its energy in August from renewable sources, Chilean vitality fee CNE stated within the newest report on the sector.

The nation’s renewables produced 2,238 GWh gross of electrical energy, which represented a rise of seven.9% in comparison with July, and up by 23.7% year-on-year.

The renewables share in July was 28.7%.
