
Might 19 (Renewables Now) – Catamaran Renewables, a three way partnership between funding agency Captona and South Jersey Industries (NYSE:SJI), has acquired a 5.66-MW photo voltaic park with 5.2 MWh of vitality storage in Massachusetts.
Particularly, the JV has purchased the power in Agawam from Consolidated Edison Options Inc for an undisclosed quantity. The plant has certified for the Massachusetts SMART tariff-based incentive programme.
With this buy, Catamaran provides storage to its portfolio of photo voltaic and gas cell belongings. The transaction represents the corporate’s fourth acquisition, in line with an announcement on Thursday.
All belongings in Catamaran’s portfolio are situated in Massachusetts and New York.
