ABO Wind inks PPA for 10-MW photo voltaic challenge in Colombia

June 24 (Renewables Now) – German renewables developer ABO Wind AG (ETR:AB9) has secured a 15-year energy buy settlement (PPA) to again its 10-MW photo voltaic PV challenge in Colombia, the agency’s Colombian unit introduced.

ABO Wind signed the so-called “conditional pay as generated” kind of contract with Colombian regional energy distributor and retailer Air-e, agreeing to start out the availability of energy in early 2024.

The challenge is at present in growth. ABO Wind expects to launch building within the first quarter of 2023, it mentioned.

ABO Wind has been in Colombia since 2018. It says it’s at present engaged on a portfolio of tasks totalling some 600 MW.
